Notary Update! This program will include an overview of the most troublesome notary rules, the Covid-19 emergency E-signature rule issued by the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office, and highlights of changes coming in July, 2021, as a result of the new notary law recently passed by the Mississippi legislature.

Linda Dale, Jones Walker, LLP

Linda S. Dale, M.Ed., CP, is a paralegal with the Banking & Financial Services Practice Group of Jones Walker LLP, a law firm which represents local, regional and national financial institutions, board of directors and independent committees, investors, and many other individuals, groups and companies in various types of matters.

She has provided notarial services within the banking law area of practice for the past 35 years including 25 years with the banking attorneys at Jones Walker LLP. She has been involved in all areas of banking law including regulatory compliance, corporations, mergers and acquisitions and loan closings. Ms. Dale holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree from Delta State University as well as the National Association of Legal Assistant’s designation of Certified Paralegal and has been a member of the Mississippi Paralegal Association since 1994.
