The MBA is sponsoring its 4th Annual "A Banker in Every Classroom" week. Governor Phil Bryant has proclaimed this week, November 3-7, as "A Banker in Every Classroom" week. Hundreds of Mississippi bankers will be joining local teachers throughout the state to present lessons in personal finance in grades K through 12 for one of the biggest financial education projects in Mississippi.

Gordon Fellows joins MBA staff

Gordon Fellows has joined the Mississippi Bankers Association staff as vice president, government relations. His duties will include representing the Association at the State Capitol, coordinating lobbying efforts, and managing Association events. Fellows joins the Association after working in the furniture industry for six years, three of which were spent in China. A native of Tupelo, he earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies at the Croft Institute at the University of Mississippi. Fellows is married to the former Sara Hart Rosenblatt of Jackson. They live in Madison and are members of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. He can be reached at gfellows@msbankers.com.
