If you are paying your MBA Affiliate Member dues online, you should have received a paper invoice which included the following information:

Amount Due for 2018-2019: $830
($800 +$30 processing fee)

Upon payment of the annual fee indicated, the above-named company/firm shall be an Affiliate of the Mississippi Bankers Association for the period September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019.

TAX DEDUCTIBILITY. The MBA Affiliate fee is not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes, but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. A portion of the fee, however, is not deductible t the extent that it is used for lobbying purposes. The nondeductible portion of the fee for the year is estimated to be 27%.

BENEFITS. Payment of the MBA Affiliate fee entitles affiliate company to TWO one-year subscriptions to the Mississippi Banker, TWO copies of the Mississippi Bank Directory, and a listing on the MBA website. If both fee payment and paperwork are received by publication deadlines, your company will also receive a detailed listing in the printed Mississippi Bank Directory and the new digital version of the Mississippi Bank Directory. MBA Affiliates enjoy preferred pricing for selected programs and services, including the MBA Annual Convention and Trade Show, and are eligible to advertise in the Mississippi Bank Directory. Information on all MBA programs, services and events is available from our association office.

NON-RENEWAL. If you wish to cancel, please indicate by writing CANCEL on this invoice and mail back to the Mississippi Bankers Association office. Companies who choose not to renew a second year of membership will remain current until the one year anniversary of company's initial sign-up date. Please note that a company's initial annual payment fee only entitles a company to be included in one publication of the Mississippi Bank Directory.
